Sports Journalist

I am a Sports Journalist with a hard emphasis on production. I've done everything from operate graphics for student-run clubs at Arizona State to creating graphics and motion graphics for the Arizona Cardinals. In my first years at Cronkite, I also did a lot of reporting on different ASU athletics which can be seen in my portfolio.

I am advanced in the Adobe suite from Premiere to After Effects to Photoshop. I am also fimiliar with both the Chyron and Ross Xpression graphic systems used by many professional organizations in both designing and operating.

About Me

My name is Justin Carter. I was born and raised in Sacramento, CA where I grew of love for sports and those who covered it. That passion led me to Arizona State where I am pursuing my Bachelors in Sports Journalism.

Like most people who want to be journalists, I arrived at ASU hoping to be the next big thing on TV and share my personality on the likes of ESPN/Sportscenter. Since learning more about the field I have developed a passion for production which has opened many new doors for me in Graphic design, motion graphics and studio production. I am looking forward to seeing where these paths take me in the future with sports.
